Courchevel 10 Week Ski Course
New Generation – The BASI GAP course in Courchevel is run by New Generation.
New Generation is owned and managed by two BASI trainers (Tom Saxlund and
Warren Hogben). They started the ski school 11 years ago, in that time recruiting
a fantastic coaching team dedicated to developing the future of British ski coaching.
Similar to ICE, New Generation is a training centre and a ski school so students
can benefit from not only the coaching but also seeing how the theory is put into
practise.
New Generation also offers students the opportunity to continue their BASI
training after the GAP course with ISIA training courses in Courchevel and
ISTD courses in its Verbier resort. New Generation provides a complete
pathway of training with the opportunity to work in one of their 7 resorts on full
ISTD qualification (this takes on average 3-5 years).
Resort - Courchevel
The 3 Valleys ski area in Savoie, France is the biggest in the world. With over 200 lifts
and 600km of pistes, it's easy to understand the appeal of this ski mecca. The resorts
that form Courchevel sit at one end of the 3 Valleys area and have some of the best skiing.
From Courchevel you can access mogulfields, smooth race pistes, glacier and coulouir skiing.
Courchevel offers door-to-door skiing with easy access to a wide variety of terrain - ideal training
ground to improve your performance and have a fantastic time skiing.
 The chalet is located in Courchevel Le Praz within a couple of minutes of the lift station. Le Praz is a lively but
affordable part of Courchevel and is therefore home to a community of seasonnaires and instructors! Local nightlife
includes the famous Sports Bar which hosts regular band nights and all major sporting events.
