Méribel 10 Week Ski Course
New Generation – The BASI GAP course in Méribel is run by New Generation.
New Generation is owned and managed by two BASI trainers (Tom Saxlund and
Warren Hogben). They started the ski school 11 years ago, in that time recruiting
a fantastic coaching team dedicated to developing the future of British ski coaching.
Similar to ICE, New Generation is a training centre and a ski school so students
can benefit from not only the coaching but also seeing how the theory is put into
practise.
Resort - Méribel
Méribel is at the centre of the Trois Vallees Ski area. This means there is excellent access
to not only Méribel's own extensive skiing, but also to the neighbouring valleys of Courchevel,
Val Thorens/Les Menuires and Les Orelles.
Méribel's own skiing is fabulous. Well groomed pistes that descend from the ridges at around 2500 metres
and drop 1000 metres down into Méribel itself offer a wide variety of terrain. From the off-piste around Mont
Vallon to the famous Bartavelle bumps, Méribel has it all.
 The chalet is located in Méribel Les Allues. The chalet is within a few minutes’ walk of the main Olympic bubble.
Similar to Le Praz, Les Allues is a favourite with seasonnaires. Band nights and theme nights at the Tsaretta are
an essential part of the seasonal diary.
