Val d'Isère 10 Week Snowboard Course
ICE – The BASI GAP course in Val d’Isere is run by ICE (The International Centre
of Excellence). ICE is owned and managed by three BASI trainers (Mark Jones,
Rupert Tildesley and Dave Cowell). They have all been based in Val d’Isère for
the last sixteen years and are partners in Mountain Masters, a specialist ski and
snowboard school. When you book on a course with ICE, you book on a course
with the people who actually do the training and assessing.
ICE is run by Instructors for Instructors.
Resort - Val d'Isère
Val d'Isère is one of the world's premier ski resorts. Boasting some of the
best skiing in the world, a super slick lift system and a snow record which
affords one of the longest alpine seasons, Val has a reputation as being
a skiers resort and a lively town. As the hub of snowsports in Europe, it
attracts the very best and has become home for many of the BASI's top
trainers who coach for ICE, the International Centre of Excellence. For these
reasons it is the perfect venue to do a course of this nature
 Many of the world's best have cut their teeth in the Espace Killy
and the cutting edge of performance to be found in Val through
the decades is still very much alive today. Such is Val d' Isère's
presence in the Alps for top-flight skiing and snowboarding that
it was selected to run the World Championships in 2009.

Accommodation, food, lift pass, transfers
- Spacious south facing apartments (ski-in/ski-out, right at the bottom of one
of the major lifts)
- Evening meal in local restaurant 5 nights a week (Local specialities every week)
- Lift-pass for the duration of the course (with available seasonal upgrade)
- Transfers to and from airport
